             Monique is a former 16” Dreamgirls Effie by the Robert Tonner Company.  She has beautiful caramel vinyl on Tonner’s ‘full-figured’ body sculpt, which was used for Effie, Endora, Emme, etc. (she will happily share clothes with these ladies).  She is articulated at the knees, elbows, shoulders, and neck and uses a special saddle-less stand (included).  Monique features a full ‘trolling’ in gorgeous variegated mohair by the fabulous Carolyn Dean (the Flying Ewe).  She has received a full repaint in acrylics and is permanently sealed with ultra matte UV varnish.  She will arrive in her original Tonner box with stand and an artist’s Certificate of Authenticity.  All work was completed in a smoke-free environment.   

 

Repaint Details:

~ Eyes: rich brown

~Eyeshadow: blue mist with deep rose

~Lips: terra cotta

 

             In addition, Monique comes with this fabulous one-of-a-kind ensemble created by the very talented Joyce Wisman just for her!  I commissioned the outfit for this doll and asked Joyce to create something flattering, flirty, contemporary, and classy that would accentuate the fabulous curves of Tonner’s fuller body sculpt.  I would say this fills the ticket!!!  The v-neck knit tunic top features earthy browns, rusty sienna, and turquoise accents in a beautiful, subtle pattern.  The sleeves are slightly flared and a high belt sits below the bustline.  Joyce hand-beaded along the neckline with tiny rust brown, turquoise, and gold beads.  The accompanying rust-colored silk capris (fully lined in ocean blue) also feature hand beading along the bottom.  Topping off the ensemble are gold earrings accented with brown beads and gold strappy sandals.

 

             As a combination of the talents of three different artists, Monique is a very special and unique doll with a lot of personality!
